The Victorian Government's Careers website offers a wide range of information and tools to help you find the right job, at the right level, in the right agency or department within Government.
Job Search in Current Vacancies allows you to search for suitable vacancies on the jobs board. Select the job that interests you to see the job details and position description.
You'll also find entry to a job search feature on almost every page of this website. It's located to the right of the web page body copy and is titled searchjobs. To use this function simply select the location and job function that most closely match your preferences, then click on the search button. From there you'll be taken to a list of roles available within the Victorian Government that best match your prerequisites.
To apply for any of the advertised vacancies, all you have to do is register on the website by clicking the Register button in the right hand Candidate Login box to create your account. Just provide your personal details. Don't forget to read and agree to the privacy collection notice.
Once you are registered you can log into your account. Your personal information will automatically transfer to any online application for a job. To apply online simply click the “Apply Now” button at the bottom of the Job Details for the advertised vacancy.
In Career Services you can register through Job Email and have details of jobs of interest sent to you when such jobs become available. My Profile allows you to submit details of your capabilities and upload a resume in a talent pool we can use to match you to suitable vacancies. Departments may contact you and invite you apply, asking you to respond to key selection criteria in the position description.
My Applications allows you to view applications you have submitted online and to check their progress. And, you can also update your account in Career Services.
